Yoga came later in my life and opened a door to improved health and being present in the moment. Through my yoga practice, I gained flexibility and strength in my body and my approach to life. Through my yoga practice, I feel open, expansive and adventurous. These feelings translate to my life off the mat encouraging me to try new things and realize I am not done growing, learning and changing. I attend many classes each week, yoga retreats, workshops and practices in my home. My culminating achievement is the completion of 200 RYT and Yoga Warriors training in May 2018.
I am special education teacher with 32 years with training in social emotional needs, trauma and learning disabilities. My love of teaching extends to sharing my yoga practice with people of all ages and abilities.
My interest include learning about yoga, walking, reading and spending time at the beach.
