Meet Sue Stevens, E-RYT 500, TCTSY-F, YACEP

Sue StevensSue specializes in yoga classes and workshops that emphasize relief from emotional trauma and grief. With more than 3000 hours of experience teaching yoga, she has taught yoga to adults in group and private classes, children and teens in public and private schools, active duty military and veterans, adults and at-risk youth in residential treatment programs and hospitals, and in bereavement support group settings. She has offered classes, workshops and trainings throughout the U.S. Sue is a teacher and trainer for Yoga Warriors International and presents professional yoga trainings and workshops for yoga teachers.

As a lifelong learner with over 1000 hours of training, Sue has trained in numerous types of yoga methodologies including Yoga Warriors International, yoga for children, seniors, substance abuse recovery, cancer, chair yoga, restorative yoga, yin yoga, yoga nidra, qigong, meditation, mindful self-compassion, reiki, completed the UMass MBSR program, and the post-graduate certificate program in Traumatic Stress Studies at The Trauma Center at JRI.
