Yoga Warriors International™ Teacher Training
with Founder, Lucy Cimini
IN PERSON-This virtual training program is open to anyone who is inspired to facilitate healing to those with PTSD or Combat Stress Disorder and to professionals who work with (or would like to work with) active-duty military personnel, veterans, first responders and their families. Yoga Warriors Training topics covered include: How to start a Yoga Warriors program in your area; conducting a class for military, veterans and first responders with PTSD; develop an understanding of PTSD; reducing triggers in class; understanding the combat experience from a veterans perspective; experiencing and facilitating restorative yoga; chair yoga for those with limited mobility; the business of YWI and practice teaching a Yoga Warriors class.
In-Person Training Includes:
- 117 page Manual YWI Teaching Certificate or Certificate of Attendance
- Use of YWI Trademark
- 16 CE’s offered by the National Yoga Alliance

Prerequisite:
To receive a Yoga Warriors International™ teacher certificate, you must be a yoga teacher certified at the 200 or 500 hour level. Otherwise, you will receive a “certificate of attendance” stating you have attended the training. If you are presently in a 200 hour training, you can become a certified YWI Yoga teacher within 2 years of taking the training after emailing or mailing a copy of your 200 hour yoga teacher certification to YWI. A Yoga Warriors training agreement will be sent to each potential Yoga Warriors International teacher prior to the training. This agreement and proof of certification must be signed and returned via email or mail before the first day of your training. The signed training agreement and proof of 200 or 500 hour teacher training certificate from a Yoga Alliance registered school is required before receiving your Yoga Warriors International teacher certificate.
* Please note: Some yoga experience is recommended. Many mental health professionals have found great value in this alternative non-pharmaceutical treatment modality!

Cancellation policy for the In-Person trainings:
All monies will be refunded in full (less a $50 processing fee) if you cancel up to 3 days prior to your arrival date. No credit or refund is available if you cancel 1 or 2 days in advance of the workshop’s day of arrival, if you do not show up, or if you leave an event early for any reason. Central Mass Yoga and Yoga Warriors reserves the right to cancel any program, training or workshop at any time. In this event, you will be given a complete refund.
